# Internal Onboarding

### Purpose

Internal onboarding ensures that team members understand the project, customer, controls, tools, and expectations.

### Onboarding Checklist

Each team member should receive:

* project overview
* Statement of Work summary
* role description
* delivery plan
* governance cadence
* access instructions
* security briefing
* data handling requirements
* repository access
* communication channels
* risk and issue process
* escalation routes
* IP rules
